1. Who this applies to
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the UdaipurCourier website and services, operated by Raj Hari Enterprises (“we”, “us”, “our”) — an authorised DTDC, DHL, FedEx and Aramex booking partner in Udaipur. By booking a shipment with us, you (“sender”, “customer”) agree to these terms.
2. Our role as a booking partner
We are a booking and pickup partner — we book your shipment into the network of the carrier you select (DTDC, DHL, FedEx, Aramex, etc.). The shipment itself is carried by that carrier. Transit, delivery, and claims are governed by the carrier’s own terms (DTDC: dtdc.com; DHL: dhl.com; FedEx: fedex.com; Aramex: aramex.com). We act as an intermediary and handle pickup, packaging, documentation and tracking support on your behalf.
3. Quotes and rates
- Quotes are indicative until confirmed in writing (WhatsApp / email)
- Actual chargeable weight is the higher of actual or volumetric weight (L × W × H cm ÷ 5000 for courier, ÷ 6000 for cargo)
- Fuel surcharges and zone surcharges are passed through from carriers and may change monthly
- International quotes exclude destination customs duty, VAT, or handling charges — these are payable by the recipient unless DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is specifically arranged
4. Prohibited items
You agree not to ship the following through our service:
- Cash, bank notes, bullion, share certificates
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapons
- Narcotics, psychotropic substances, Schedule H/X drugs
- Liquids, syrups, perfumes, aerosols for international shipments
- Compressed gases, flammable materials, radioactive materials
- Live animals, plants, fresh perishable food (for international)
- Any item prohibited by Indian law or the destination country
Shipping prohibited items is a breach of these terms and may result in seizure, fine, or legal action against the sender. We are not liable for any loss arising from undeclared prohibited items.
5. Packaging and labelling
- Sender is responsible for adequate packaging; we offer packaging service at additional cost
- Fragile items must be labelled “FRAGILE” and may require crating
- International shipments must bear a detailed commercial invoice listing contents and declared value
- We reserve the right to open, inspect or repack any consignment as required by carrier or customs rules
6. Pickup and delivery
- Free home pickup anywhere in Udaipur for shipments above 10 kg; below that, a nominal pickup fee applies
- Transit times are estimates, not guarantees; they exclude customs clearance delays for international
- Signature-required POD is standard; if the recipient is unavailable, the carrier re-attempts or holds at a pickup centre
7. Liability and insurance
- Standard carrier liability is limited — typically ₹100 per AWB for domestic and declared-value-based for international
- For valuables (jewellery, electronics, artwork above ₹20,000), we strongly recommend declared-value insurance at ~1–2% of declared value
- We are not liable for: undeclared value, items damaged due to inadequate packaging, loss of perishables, consequential loss (e.g. lost business opportunity due to a delayed document)
8. Payment
- Payment is due at pickup unless you hold a monthly credit account with us
- Accepted methods: cash, UPI, bank transfer, card (on request)
- GST tax invoice is issued for every shipment
- Delayed payments on credit accounts attract interest at 18% p.a. after 30 days
9. Refunds and claims
- Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled before pickup; 50% refund if cancelled after pickup but before AWB generation; no refund after AWB generation (carrier charges apply)
- Loss / damage claims: Must be raised within 7 days of scheduled delivery; we’ll coordinate with the carrier for compensation per their liability terms
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days of approval
10. KYC and compliance
- You warrant that the contents and sender / recipient details you provide are true and complete
- For international shipments and domestic shipments above ₹50,000 declared value, KYC (Aadhaar / PAN) is mandatory per Indian law
- You are responsible for compliance with destination country import rules
11. Intellectual property
The website content, logos, templates, photographs and design are the property of Raj Hari Enterprises and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.
12. Limitation of website use
The website is for booking, information and customer support. You agree not to:
- Use automated scripts to scrape or book shipments
- Submit false or misleading booking information
- Attempt to breach the security of the site or its hosting
13. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan.
14. Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of our service after a revision constitutes acceptance.
