Yes — dry mithai like ladoo, barfi, kaju katli, chakki, dry fruit-based sweets ship well. USA is strict on fresh dairy-based items, so avoid rabdi, paneer-based sweets, fresh mawa. Keep shelf-life 15+ days at room temp.
Double-sealed food-grade plastic jars, wrapped in airtight pouches, placed in padded corrugated outer boxes. We use oil-based pickles (no water-based) and keep volumes under 500 ml per jar to meet airline rules.
For domestic (2–5 days), yes — most dry sweets stay fresh for 7–15 days at room temperature. For international (3–7 days), stick to long-shelf-life items: ladoo, barfi, chakki, dry fruit sweets, namkeen. Fresh rasmalai / rasgulla won't survive.
Yes — we prepare the food-contents declaration with ingredients list, net weight, and value. For USA we mark as 'Indian ethnic dry food, homemade, for personal consumption'. Recipient may need to answer a customs query at delivery.
Absolutely — that's our busiest season. Book 7–10 days ahead of the festival date so it reaches on time, accounting for customs clearance delays. We'll confirm cut-off dates each festival season.
1 kg minimum for international (packaging overhead makes sub-1 kg shipments uneconomical). No minimum for domestic — you can send a single 500 g box of mithai.
